How To Measure
To assist you with your purchase, we suggest that you measure your windows prior to visiting our showroom. Measure all the points shown in the diagram below. With this information we have all the details neccessary to consider a wide range of window treatments. We offer sound advice and creative solutions for your entire window needs.
Measuring For Curtains
The track or pole set should extend 20cm - 40cms beyond the window architrave on both sides, depending on the size of the window. Additional can be added for wider windows. This extra space allows for the curtain to be drawn away from the window making the most of your view.
The curtain drop (length) varies depending on personal preference. Some people like the curtains pooling on the floor while others prefer them shorter. If you have existing curtains you can measure them for an exact drop or just follow the points on the diagram.
